Instructions
Remove the tofu from the package and drain between paper towels, changing the towels as necessary until tofu is mostly dry. Cut tofu into bite sized cubes and place in a container. Place all other ingredients in the same container, close tightly and shake to combine and coat the tofu. Place in fridge for at least 24 hours or up to 3 days (the longer the better I think).
Got only 5 minutes?
On the stovetop add the tofu and any remaining marinade to a large skillet. Sautee stirring oftern for 4-5 minutes until golden on all sides.
Got at least 30 minutes?
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place the tofu and any remaining marinade in a baking dish large enough to hold the tofu in a single layer. Bake uncovered stirring once or twice until the toful is firm and chewy (approximately 30-40 minutes).
Notes
This dish can be served hot or cold – it can be eaten on its own as a main entree, or added to salad and vegetable dishes. I bet you didn’t know tofu could taste this good 🙂
